difference with bamg in gmsh and in ffbamg
Hi,
For students, I would like to use bamg in gmsh rather than with the command line with ffbamg from FreeFEM. The final aim is to generate anisotropic meshes using an background mesh defined in a .pos
file containing a metric. However, the results obtained with bamg in gmsh are not similar to the one from ffbamg.
Do there are special treatments done in gmsh with the mesh from bamg ? Because, even with a very simple geometry the mesh are not the same (gmsh: yellow left, ffbamg: gren right):
The two meshes are generated with the following files and commands:
gmsh -2 -format mesh -clmin 0.01 -clmax 1 domain.geo -o domain.0.0.mesh
ffbamg -g domain_bamg_g.mesh -hmin 0.01 -hmax 1 -o domain_bamg_g.0.0.mesh
And after some steps of adaptation (using the same metric map) the anisotropy seems to be lost by gmsh:
Thanks by advance
