When merging several .msh files, physical groups are not correct
I'm trying to create several .msh files containing 2D meshes in a 3D space. I can successfully create these using my first attatched script. When I open one of the resultig files (e.g. .msh file number 21) my created physical groups are displayed correctly (see picture gmsh-21.jpg and gmsh-20.jpg).
When I now open my second script which merges all these created .msh files the physical groups are not displayed correctly afterwards (see picture gmsh-all.jpg). While this second script is executing I get the warning "Skipping duplicate element". When I reset the view point in the gui I can also see that not all points seem to be loaded (see gmsh-points1.jpg).
Notice: The created .msh files will be about 140 MB large.
