3D Tetrahedron mesh with different materials
Hello Everyone, I have created a model of 3D volume concentric spheres in SolidWorks. The inner sphere is metallic and the outer-sphere is free space. I have imported this model to create a mesh. I want to get a mesh with the following specification:
- Tetrahedron element for 3D volume mesh
- Triangle element for the outer-sphere surface mesh
- Define different material ids for the elements belongs to inner-sphere and out-sphere
- Define elements for the inner boundary of inner-sphere and the outer boundary of the outer-sphere %%
- I have imported the model in Gmsh and created the mesh with optimizing 3D mesh. How can I define physical ID's for inner-sphere, and outer-sphere? When I clicked the volume it is like select the whole volume. I want to define separately both spheres.
- How can I define the partitioned entities? Thanks
