difference between Mesh.CharacteristicLength and Mesh.MeshSize
I'm using gmsh 4.12.2 and I mesh a 3D beam. I realize that I end up with a different mesh (10x bigger) if I use Mesh.MeshSize instead of Mesh.CharacteristicLength (min/max with of course the same value in both cases). I can't find Mesh.CharacteristicLength in the documentation, except to see that it's supposed to be replaced by Mesh.MeshSize. But in my geo file, If I specify both, the last defined overwrite the effect of the 1st define: Mesh.CharacteristicLengthMax = 15.0; Mesh.CharacteristicLengthMin = 4.0; Mesh.MeshSizeMin=15; Mesh.MeshSizeMax=4; Gives a fine, big mesh
Mesh.MeshSizeMin=15; Mesh.MeshSizeMax=4; Mesh.CharacteristicLengthMax = 15.0; Mesh.CharacteristicLengthMin = 4.0; Gives a coarse, small mesh.
How can I find the link between those parameters?
