decrease the number of high valence nodes in quasi-structured quad meshes?
Hello, I want to use the quasi-structured quad 2D mesher, I noticed that the mesher sometimes does extra nodes with higher/lower valence in comparation with a structured mesh (I understand that this is normal, it is a automatic mesher...). But I asked myself the question, if this can be improved (and therefore this issue). is there any parameter that I can play to decrease the number of irregular vertex? I dont care the refinement of the mesh itself nor the time that it takes to compute it. but I coulnt succesfully change this so I get less irregular vertexes I even observed that with highly refined meshes this number increase... any input would be appreciated. here is an example of a geometry where the I am currently testing it Mesh_1_shape.step thanks in advance
