Split surface simplest way to avoid redoing all the .geo file
Hi all,
I have a complex geometry and a .geo file for meshing it with hexa. I would like to split 1 surface into 2, without having to redo everything, to add a new volume for made of hexa mesh.
I created a MWE with 2 planes. I would like to split lines 1 and 3 to be able to create 2 planes in place of plane 1 so that the mesh will be conform at the interface between the 2 surfaces.
I tried to fragment the lines but I obtain the error "Error : Unknown OpenCASCADE entity of dimension 1 with tag 3, Error : Could not apply boolean operator". Is there a way to split plane 1 into 2 planes without redoing everything?
Here is the .geo file: untitled.geo
Thanks a lot for your help!
