2d elements "detached" from the 3d elements during mesh generation.
Hello, I'm building a 3D flow over a cylinder. There seems to be a problem with the mesh generation as the 2D elements in some surfaces are "detached" from the tetrahedron, for instance the symmetry and wall (as describe by the physical group). this constitute an issue for me as I am extracting those data to build an ansys fluent .msh file. Please do take a look at my code as I do hope that I am missing something.new_4.txt here is the model generated.
I dont know if this is necessary, but i use getNodesForPhycalGroup then i them iterate the triangle retrieved from the tetrahedron. however I am confident that that part of the code has no issue as I have tried it with the same volume without the cylinder and it worked perfectly. the issue seems to arise when i try to add a wing or cylinder to a surface. thanks inn advance!
