Defining Physical Groups using coordinates from txt file
Hi there, I am currently working on generating a mesh for a 2D microstructure which has two materials randomly distributed. I am aiming to use gmsh as a platform to achieve this. My aim is to define a mesh for such 2D microstructure as well as clearly define physical groups (i.e., subdomains based on the material information) and boundaries between the two materials. Currently, I have a txt file containing information regarding the coordinates and the material information. The file is structured as follows:
x coordinate | y coordinate | z coordinate | material information |
---|
Here is the txt file:microstructure.txt
The resulting image when plotted on MATLAB looks as such:
My goal is to define physical groups as well as a boundary which separates two materials (the blue and the yellow).
May I ask if anyone has any thoughts on how this can be accomplished?
