Question: canonical node numbering for high order elements
Hi,
I'm trying to support importing/exporting .msh files for a personal project, and I'm looking for clarification on the canonical ordering of nodes for linear/quadratic/cubic tetrahedra and hexahedra. I was hoping to use gmsh to write out a .msh file of a single tet/cube of different polynomial orders to see the way that the nodes are numbered, but I'm not sure how to proceed.
Can anyone help me generate (or provide) .msh files of a single tet/hex?
Thank you,
Sam
