Wrong behavior of Printf with the precompiled binary for Windows
About 9 years ago I submitted a ticket (ticket number 226 on https://geuz.org/trac/gmsh/search, broken link) regarding the behavior of function Printf
on Windows. The reproducer (printf.geo) which was provided is: n=100; Printf("n=%04g",n);
. Execution (gmsh - printf.geo
) with the binaries downloaded from http://gmsh.info/bin/ resulted in:
-
0100
on Linux ... this is correct -
100
on Windows ... this is wrong
Ticket 226 was accepted. A comment related the problem to http://sourceforge.net/p/mingw-w64/bugs/362/. I cannot remember the version of gmsh
with which the problem was discovered 9 years ago. However, the problem seems not yet fixed. Indeed, I recently downloaded gmsh-4.11.1
and observed the same wrong behavior on Windows.
Is there any plan to fix this problem?
