Unable to create a good fully hexahedral mesh in gmsh for a truncated cone
I have been trying to create fully hexahedral mesh for a truncated cone (base radius = 0.015m, tip radius = 0.004m and height = 0.41m) in gmsh. I have been unable to get an error free mesh, usually the errors I am facing are either that 'Perfect match failed in quadrangulation' or 'Pyramid top vertex already classified on volume 1 (!= 2) - non-manifold quad boundaries not supported yet'. Even if the 3D mesh is created, it's not exactly the best quality and the 2D mesh always has some error. What would be the right way to create such a mesh (hexahedral) for the truncated cone geometry? Maybe I am not following the right steps...
