gmsh cannot save the setting with double quotes "C:\Software\Win\Sublime Text\sublime_text.exe" "%s" as default setting
Hello,
In gmsh GUI on Windows 10, Tools→General→Advanced, I've set C:\Software\Win\Sublime Text\sublime_text.exe "%s"
as the default editor, and it works for most file paths and can be saved as the default setting, but it fails to open files in D:\OneDrive - The University of Texas at Austin\untitled.geo
. I suspect the issue is due to spaces or special characters in the file path. So I set "C:\Software\Win\Sublime Text\sublime_text.exe" "%s"
as the default editor, it works for the above file path with spaces. However, something strange happened, the setting could not be saved as the default option. When Gmsh was closed and reopened, the default setting became notepad.exe '%s'
.
I have tried to change the setting in the gmsh-option file but failed.
How can I resolve this issue?
