How to generate identical meshes over different runs
When running GMSH with a Python (or Fortran) script trying to generate the mesh for a model, I noticed that the mesh will become different when the script is run multiple times. The process seems to be random, i.e., each run gives a unique mesh.
I tried to set the `Mesh.RandomSeed' option to a fixed integer and it did not help. What should I do if I want to have identical meshes generated each time I run the same script? This is important for reproducing modeling results. Yes, I know I can write the mesh files down and only read the same mesh files so that the numerical modeling response should remain the same, but that is not what I wanted. I'd like to use the Fortran API to incorporate the meshing process into my pre-existing Fortran code so that NO mesh files need to be written and read back to the code as there are hundreds of models (mesh files) required for each simulation.
Is there anything else that can be used to control the randomness?
