Difficulty getting the mesh conformal using transfinite
Hello mr/mrs.,
I am a fairly new user of your program Gmsh. I need to create a structure mesh to represent a free surface, which is used in hydrodynamic diffraction software OrcaWave. In the first picture, the blue mesh represents the free surface mesh created with Gmsh and the red mesh is the body of the structure created with a different mesh. A problem I am facing is that free surface mesh is not coinciding with the body mesh (see second picture). I believe this is caused because the transfinite curve command is not setting the points on the curve uniformly (In picture 2, X1 and X2 do not have the same length). Is there a way to solve this issue?
I am using the python api and have supplied the code used here below.
