Impossible to install gmsh via pip3 install /pip3 --upgrade install - in MacOS
Dear developers I urgently need to use a program (porepy) that requires, obligatorily, the installation of gmsh via "pip". The point is, once you run the command:
pip3 install gmsh
The terminal tells me:
francyrad@MacBook-Pro-di-Francesco porepy % pip3 install gmsh ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement gmsh (from versions: none) ERROR: No matching distribution found for gmsh
I also tried:
pip3 install --upgrade gmsh
and I get the same error. I have installed gmsh for other ways, either via . dmg or source code. But the program I have to use, porepy, doesn’t recognize it. I also tried to write a path, a python path etc. it doesn’t work. The most elegant way to make the program work would be to install it via pip. i also tried to update pip and python in general. Nothing...
Is there a way to fix the problem and install it via pip?
I await your cordial feedback.
