[Python API] Transfinite-nonTransfinite Cross Meshing (Error: Could not recover boundary mesh: error 2)??
I'm working on meshing a rectangular prism but the trick is that the elements on the top and bottom surfaces must be transfinite, oriented at 30 degree angles, and oriented in the opposite direction relative to one another. I've attached picture which show the geometry I'm talking about:
(Isometric View)
(Isometric View Tilted Upwards - Note how the transfinite elements are oriented in the opposite direction on this surface VS the top surface)
Note that there are no strict meshing requirements on the four remaining surfaces and the mesh I have pictured in the above photo is simply an example. I'd like to generate a fully conformal, 3D mesh for this structure, but I've been running into this error a lot:
I'm able to consistently generate a 2D mesh for this structure but the 3D mesh is where I'm getting all of my problems. Is it possible within Gmsh to find a suitable mesh and if so, what settings should I use to generate a working mesh?
