HXT Meshing stops with error 11
Using standard settings my mesh can be created in reasonable time using a coarse mesh.
However I need a finer mesh which will take very long to calculate (expected some 100GB mesh size) so I tried to run the 3D Mesh Algorithm HXT in parallel on a 128 CPU / 1TB machine. Until a certain point all seems well, but then the application crashes with error 11 and the log shows this (level 99): (Total Mem usage ~ 40GB, free ~950GB)

What could cause this? (GMSH 4.9.0 / centos) If I (this time) did not miss anything HXT is the only way of achieving a (fine grained) parallelized meshing in 3D using gmsh, so I do not know a way around this ...
Help would really be appreciated :)
