gmsh pip dependencies on linux for GLIBC_2.23
I'm running a redhat 7 machine and try to use gmsh installed by pip in an conda environment. While calling gmsh I get an OSError:
OSError: /lib64/libm.so.6: version "GLIBC_2.23" not found (required by <path_to_conda_environment>/lib/libgmsh.so.4.9)
The reason is obviously the glibc version. I Have 2.17 installed on my machine. I'm not able to update my system! Further compiling by myself is difficult, because I have another version of occ installed, which is patched and not compatible with gmsh. On more modern distributions paralell installation of gmsh by pip and my occ version works fine.
Is there a possibility to link gmsh against a conda provided glibc? I have not found a solution.
