Output constrained delaunay triangulation
Hi gmsh developpers,
Thanks a lot for gmsh, it's a great tool that we have been using for years now in hydra (hydra-software.net).
Along with the unstructured mixed quad/tri meshes that we are currently using, we have the need for a constrained Delaunay triangulation without any added nodes. The mesh is for visualisation purposes (triangles only, and degenerated ones are not much of a problem).
Some libraries can provide that (e.g. CGAL, triangles), but it's healthy to limit dependencies.
As I far as I understood the gmsh doc (that I read several years ago), some gmsh algorithms create such a triangulation as an early step of the mesh generation. Would it be possible/easy and in the scope of gmsh to output this sort of mesh ? If so I'd be glad to try and propose a code contribution given a few pointers in the right direction.
Thanks,
Vincent.
