give common name to most curves

I Have a 2D geometry with a few hundred curves. I would like (using Pyfr) to impose one boundary condition on most curves, and a few boundary conditions on some additional curves. is there a way to name a few curves, and then name all the rest of the curves at the same time (one name for all of them)? Many thanks. attaching the step file just because. Nathan
