Line, Lineloop and surface numbering due to extrude
Hello, I have got difficulties in finding a correct numbering when I create automatically a .geo file with 1000 cylinders obtained like that (example for the 1st one):
Point (1) = {-4.29495,-885.487,290.375,0.5};
Point (2) = {-7.44057,-883.739,292.122,0.5}; Point (3) = {-3.75489,-885.145,286.426,0.5}; Point (4) = {-1.6894,-887.576,292.576,0.5};
Circle (1) = {2,1,3}; Circle (2) = {3,1,4}; Circle (3) = {4,1,2};
Line Loop (4) = {1,2,3}; Plane Surface (5) = {4};
Extrude {-5.41005,-8.28294,-1.45747} { Surface{5}; }
I thought that for points 4*(n-1)+1, +2, +3, +4 should be good with n=1 to 1000 for circles+lineloops 5*(n-1)+1,+2,+3,+4 for surfaces 5*(n-1)+5
but it seems to be wrong due to objects created by "extrude". Is there a function to get the latest available number for points, circles, line loops and surfaces ? Thank you
