I imported geometric data from a NACA 0012 with 1000 points and 200 points (two profiles). I created a boundary layer on both profiles and a domain all around each one. When I start the mesh I have two different problems:
First, When I try to refine the boundary layer by decreasing the lc cell parameter, I have unstructured meshes seeping into the boundary layer and I don’t know where the problem is coming from
Second, When the number of points in the profile is large (1000 points for example), the mesh generates errors (Edge not recorvered: 242 249 444444 for example). How to correct this and what is the cause? The same error occurs when I want to make a 3D mesh by extrusion of the mesh surface in 2D.
You offered to start with a coarse mesh. I send you the code with 200 points with coarse mesh (lc large). In that code, the parameter "a" allows to refine the mesh of the boundary layer without influencing the domain outside the boundary layer. when this parameter is 0.01 for example, unstructured cells infiltrate the boundary layer.
Note that I am using version 4.4.0 of Gmsh
