unable to refine the first cell thickness of boundary layer of a 2d wing geometry
Hello there,
I am currently working on a project about NACA0012 wing. I am having unstructured grid everywhere except the structured boundary layer around the airfoil. At the moment, I am having trouble setting the first cell thickness value (Field[1].hwall_n). Whenever the value falls below a threshold, around 4.6035e-04, there are really weird 2d edges starting to form at the trailing edge of the airfoil, and when I make the mesh in 3d, there are irregular 3d cell forming around the same area as well. And when I try to convert the msh file in foam format, openFoam does not like that. These edges disappear if I use value higher than the threshold. Please see the attached photos for a clearer idea. I have also attached the 2 geo files that created this mesh. main.geoparameters.geo ![Screen_Shot_2019-02-10_at_8.38.53_pm]
