How to remove duplicate triangles in STL files

Hello,

I am using Gmsh to merge some .STL files, and to generate volume mesh after merging. unfortunately, I get the warning of duplicate triangle in the merged .STL file.

I attach couple of slides that show the process of merging two parts, as you see in the slide these two parts share the same boundary.

I would be grateful if you tell me how I can remove duplicated triangles in the generated merged .STL file.

Best, Gmsh.pptx Vahid
