Add "point in curve" instruction

I do have one application. I want to add a point force in a sphere, so "point in surface" would do. But the 3d model instead of only one surface has two hemi-spheres. And the location of the force is symmetric, so I cannot decide to which of the two surfaces I have to embed the point to. If I could "point in curve" to the circle that separates them, that would do the trick.
