Resolution of mesh around points
I want to make mesh using some data from a geological model. In the geological model I can see the distribution of heterogeouns layers in a chaotic way. So, it is completely different from a normal tube or cube. I have uploaded a sample here. In the sample there are two interfaces which separate three layers. I can export the location (x,y,z) of these two interfaces with a desired resolution. So, I have almost lots of points (in cases more than two thousands) representing that interface. But meshes generated in my modeler are not suitable for being an input for a FE modeler. Therefore, I want to reproduce this two interfaces and propagate high quality meshes (generated by gmsh) along these important interfaces. I have all my data points as csv files and imported all the points to gmsh. Then, I embedded these point into the volume to generate the mesh respecting these points but my mesh is too rough and I can say useless. I set element size factor 5 to reach it. In case of using the default 1, generated mesh will be too fine. I wanted to ask you that how I can modify and optimize it? I already played with the lc of points but the result did not change a lot. I also uploaded here my script. In advance, I appreciate in advance any feedback from anyone. My primary model in geomodeller:
