about adjacent structures on GMSH
I'm building a square loop that represents a square wire.
SetFactory("OpenCASCADE");
Cylinder(1) = {7, 7, 0, 0, 0, 14, 3, 2*Pi};
Cylinder(4) = {7, -7, 0, 0, 0, 14, 3, 2*Pi};
Cylinder(6) = {7, -7, 0, 0, 14, 0, 3, 2*Pi};
Cylinder(7) = {7, -7, 14, 0, 14, 0, 3, 2*Pi};
Sphere(13) = {7, 7, 0, 3, -Pi/2, Pi/2, 2*Pi};
Sphere(14) = {7, -7, 0, 3, -Pi/2, Pi/2, 2*Pi};
Sphere(18) = {7, 7, 14, 3, -Pi/2, Pi/2, 2*Pi};
Sphere(19) = {7, -7, 14, 3, -Pi/2, Pi/2, 2*Pi};
Mesh.CharacteristicLengthMax = 1;
Mesh.CharacteristicLengthFactor = 0.5;
I have some doubts if Gmsh assumes that the spheres are attached to the cylinders and at the time of meshing it will not cut the tetrahedrons. In this way is considered a single system.
I have seen some examples that use surface loop but I don't know very well what this command does.
thanks
