Problem Importing CGNS File (created by Ansys Mesher)
Hello,
I have a problem when importing a CGNS mesh file created with the Ansys Mesher. I have tagged / marked / named the various boundaries (inlet, outlet, wall1, wall2) and subdomains (volume1, volume2) in the mesher, and can see that these are present in the CGNS file. However, when I read the mesh with Gmsh (calling gmsh ansys_out.cgns) and inspect the mesh visibility, I can see the different boundaries as elementary entities (which is fine and works as expected), but only a single volume is created and I cannot find my subdomains represented in there. In contrast, when I import this mesh, e.g., into Ansys Fluent, Fluent correctly recognizes the subdomains, indicating that they are indeed present in the CGNS file.
I have created a minimal working example, which I attach to this issue for you to reproduce the issue. I have tested this behavior with Gmsh 4.8.4 and 4.11.1.
Thanks a lot for your time and help, Sebastian
