[Gmsh Python API] gmsh.model.mesh.setRecombine - ability to specify "angle" argument
I am trying to mesh a complex surface imported from CAD using quads, with the Python API. I recombine the elements after calling gmsh.model.occ.synchronize(), and prior to mesh generation, using 'gmsh.model.mesh.setRecombine()' for each of the 2D surfaces. However, some elements are too skewed and don't meet the default 45 degree difference between interior angles. This is not surprising to me and is acceptable - the end use of this mesh requires 100% quads.
I notice that the argument is available in gmsh.model.geo.mesh.setRecombine - why is is not available for gmsh.model.mesh.setRecombine, which covers a more general set of geometries? One must use the OCC kernel for importing from CAD, so I can't think of other ways to force the meshing algorithm to recombine everything.
