Limit mesh elements edge length
Hi
Im trying to build a mesh for acoustic simulation, where i need a mesh that is as uniform as possible. Im using the python API to control gmsh
I have tried with the Mesh.MeshSizeMin and Mesh.MeshSizeMax, setting them to the same value.. this gives me a very similar mesh as to setting the sizing directly on the points.
When i mesh a 10X10 box with a meshsize setting of 1, i get the following: (Analyzed on distances between the points of the elements in the mesh): MinLength=0.745608, MaxLength=2.015999, MeanLength=1.293205, StdLength =0.258249
What i would preferably want is to control the mean length and have as tight of a distribution as possible.
Is there a sizing setting in gmsh that does this?
Best regards Jesper
