Gmsh coordinates precision
hello,
Before anything else, I would appreciate for providing this good, free, and easy to use meshing software.
I have a question about Gmsh coordinates precision, which is used by Gmsh. I mean, when we define a point like (7.0, 5.0, 4 [this number is defined as integer]) or a radius = 4.0, does these numbers apply by Gmsh as double[7.0], double[5.0], double[4] and radius = 4.0000000000000000? Or Gmsh choose a differ numbers (decimal-precision) near our specified numbers e.g. 7.00000001242 ... . If the precision is not double for numbers, how to apply this precision (double) over all the coding file. I'm using numbers in codes by 17 decimals to make sure they are applying with double precision. I would like to be sure if Gmsh uses the intended double precision by default, or by using a code line.
Best regards,
Ali
