Try meshing two triangles and make sure the element number is the same.
Hi all,
I was trying to divide two triangles in Gmsh and wanted to keep their element number the same, and I found that I could only do this by using the transfinite function. However, when I use this function, the mesh on one corner becomes very small, as in the figure 01 below.
But I wanted to make the mesh look like Figure 02, but I could only do this by adjusting the element factor, but this resulted in a different element number (Figure 02, Figure 03).
I would like to ask if Gmsh can implement something like mapped mesh? I found a similar question earlier and found that the problem could be solved by the c++ code meshGFaceTransfinite.cpp.But I'm just starting out with Gmsh and don't really understand how this code should be used.meshGFaceTransfinite.cpp
My scipt (geo) for both trangles was attached. pattern_1.geo
Thank you all very much for your help.
