GetBoundary function gives unoriented surfaces
Hi,
I have 2 random volumes separated by a common surface. I would like to know how the normal of the surface is oriented regarding these two volumes (which one is in the normal direction, which one is in the opposite direction).
I expected to do that using the gmsh.model.getBoundary() function on the volumes, but the output surfaces are not oriented (even with the 'oriented=True' option). Is that a bug or an expected outcome ?
A workaround would be to do an inclusion test on both sides of the surface. So, I would like to check if a random point defined by its coordinates (x,y,z) is inside a volume. Is there a way to do that with the GMSH python api ?
Thanks a lot, Best regards, Jordan.
