Tutorial 10 yields unexpected result
I seem to be getting problems running tutorial 10. It appears like mesh fields are being ignored.
I am running gmsh on Ubuntu 18.04. I just completely uninstalled gmsh to make sure I have a clean install, and reinstalled with
pip install --upgrade gmsh
Running t10.geo yields the following output:
I do not think this is what we should expect from tutorial 10. It seems like at least some fields are being ignored here.
I also noticed some even weirder behavior. If I comment out everything from line 23 down to the end of the file and then save, I would expect running gmsh t10.geo to give a mesh that is uniform with characteristic length lc = 0.15. But I still get the same output as shown above, which is much finer than this. If I change lc = 0.15 to lc = 0.5 I still get the same output. So it seems like the mesh refinement is somehow independent of the choice of lc, which does not make any sense to me.
