How do you model a rotationally symmetric problem correctly?
A simple magneto-static problem: the force between 2 permanent magnets - both cylinders. The full 3D model yield the correct forces, then I tried to simplify it to a rotationally symmetric (or axisymmetric) problem an I get wrong forces. The B-field in both models is correct. Whats wrong? Enclosed the correct working 3D-Model (240411_Two_Cylinders_3D) and the axisymmetric version (240411_Two_Cylinders.zip). Thanks for any hints.
