I'm trying to mesh a geometry containing a thin layer. Minimalish working example is attached fcc.zip
Surface mesh is described by MathEval
+Restrict
mesh fields. Additionaly, I use a combination of Distance
and Threshold
fields to create a smooth transition between surfaces.
In generated mesh there are regions where mesh on one surface does not agree with mesh on the other surface
How can I enforce mesh continuity between two surfaces?
I've built gmsh from sources and now everything works as expected. Thanks!

Cannot deselect geometry in Visibility tree window. To reproduce the problem:
/tmp/test.geo
SetFactory("OpenCASCADE");
Rectangle(1) = {0,0,0,10,10};
Extrude{0,0,10}{Surface{1};}
gmsh /tmp/test.geo
Tools
->Visibility
window, select Tree
tabApply
Ctrl
+Click on some selected surface, e.g. surface 4 to deselect it and click Apply
